The Cake Boss is in the House

The Cake Boss is in the House

What a fun job I had when I got to shoot the Cake Boss taping his show when he made the 50th anniversary cake for Century 21.  The party was help in Vegas with 4000 of their closest friends.  The only thing I didn’t like was that everyone in the room had a camera, cell phone camera shooting the show and posting it on Facebook etc…  Me being the official photographer had to sign a deal that I would do anything with the photos until the show aired months later.  I’m kidding, I didn’t really care. Buddy couldn’t be any nicer. Click here to see the other...

The Cirque is in Town

The Cirque is in Town

When I was shooting in Quebec City, I heard that Cirque Du Soleil had a free outdoor stage that during the summer had free performances.  My buddy Andrew, another canadian photographer, and I went down to see if we could shoot the show.  I know that normally they won’t let you shoot with your cell phone in a normal show but didn’t care if we shot his one.  What a wonderful treat to shoot these fantastic athletes/actors do their thing.  Thanks Cirque far a great gift. These Angels are Blue

These Angels are Blue

A buddy of mine got me into the private Blue Angels show when that came to Dobbins Air force base.  What an amazing show when you think that these guys are each going 450mph at each other and missing by one foot.  I showed these pictures to them after and the ones where I had them together at the perfect moment were their favorites.  I have allot of angels in my life and these are my blue one.  Thanks for a great show. Swamp Thing

Swamp Thing

After shooting a show in New Orleans. I had a few hours to have some fun.  I got together with some friends and drove out to the swamps to rent an airboat. Our driver was from there and showed us the back areas and told us stories of growing up in the swamp. The week after we were there was when the oil spill occurred and all that area was covered in oil.  It made my heart sink when I though of all the wildlife and plant life that were destroyed in that mishap. Let there be Earth, Wind and Fire

Let there be Earth, Wind and Fire

What great memories I had when I got to meet and hang with Earth Wind and Fire. These guys are allot of fun and had the room jumping.  The 70’s were a great time for music but not for fashion.  Thank god these guys sounded better than what they wore on stage. Click here to see the other...

Fashionada

Fashionada

Fashionada is a event that local Atlantans put on to raise money for local charities and feature local talent.  I was asked by my friend Jane Monzures to shoot it and I have to tell you that I had so much fun shooting behind the stage as well as the front of it. What goes on behind the scene is just as interesting as what the audience sees. Jane and Holly Firfer were the hosts of the show and Jane featured her own designs made from mens ties.
